App Protoype

First draft of the app - "Culture Me" - Giving the user a personalised choice of what topics they want to learn about the culture so they aren't over loaded with things they have no interest in. - Potentially can sync the events, festivals, historical events to their phone calendars and show notifications of what happened on the day.

Scenarios

4 Scenarios  1 - Using the classroom/ curriculum as a pathway for change 2 - Festivals/ public events that celebrate culture  3 - Going to a family gathering but know next to nothing about your own culture 4 - Visiting the temple/ community space Prototype/ Solution 1 & 2 = An event that educates and creates awareness. A true experience that is informative yet interactive.  3 & 4 = A digital platform that has easy access to information and knowledge around a specific culture. This could also be led by a poster campaign that creates an awareness of how there is a sense of disconnect.

So if there's no use or gain from it, I wouldn't download it. If I just wanted to read about different cultures I'd Google search."  - Waverly (Primary research) "I like to compare/relate. So how would it actually compare/relate to what I'm already used to?" I have tried searching online for an app about "learning about culture" and the following came up - The Google Arts & Culture app : After downloading it myself I thought it would ask me to put in what I'm interested in but it use my google account profile instead (not sure how I feel about that). It came up with some...
